About Milano Design PhD Festival

Milano Design PhD Festival is a program of meetings with the international protagonists of design culture.

It is an occasion to take part in the final PhD defenses of PhD candidates.

All venues are open to the public from 20 to 22 February 2019 and are organized in English.

The intention is to discuss several issues in design process among Italian and international researchers, PhD candidates and world mentioned professors.

The six areas of research for the 9th edition are: Creative Industries, Smart Spaces and Smart Cities, Design for Entrepreneurship, Design Innovation for Social Change, New Frontiers for Service Design, New Perspectives for Fashion Design.

All the events are taking place at Politecnico di Milano, Campus Bovisa, via Candiani 72. The setting of the specific details are detailed in the program below.
